Maximize the Space in Your Colorado Springs Apartment Home!
Enough storage. Who has that? I decided to take control of my apartment home the other day (storage wise) and am starting with the kitchen!
If like me you have too much dinnerware, you’ll be pleased to know there are tons of options. One I particularly like is The Container Stores Single Corner Shelf; it retails for $14.99 and is worth every penny. Made out of chrome it’s sturdy enough to load up tons of plates and or bowls. It instantly frees up some extra space for mugs or whatever else you would like to store on the same shelf. Brilliant.
For the food pantry Target sells Oggis 5 piece acrylic canister set for $24.99 that can be used to hold almost anything!
Wal Mart and Target both sell an array of food organizers specially designed for packaged, canned and boxed items including multi- layered organizers that maximize the depth of your pantry.
One huge space saving item is Progressive’s 6 qt Collapsible Over the Sink Colander.
I found a red one at Tj Max Home Goods for $13.99 and Wal Mart sells the blue version for $14.97.
Spices can be a major nightmare if left to run rampant all over your pantry shelves; basically 2 of the best options for spice organizers are those that sit on a shelf or counter top and those that hang. The shelf or counter top option I like best is Old Thompson’s orbit spice rack which you can find on JC Penney’s website for $39.99. This space saving option includes 16 brand new spices. The rack spins; the handle makes moving it around super easy!
For a wall mount option the Hanging Chrome Spice Rack and Glass Bottles for $24.99 on www.organizeit.com is perfect! It even comes with spice labels.
For the abyss under the sink, buy the Under the Sink Sliding Cabinet Rack on Collections Etc’s website for a mere $15.99 You’ll make the most of the space you have with this handy under-sink rack. Designed with a smaller shelf on top and a large, pullout shelf on the bottom it’s fab.
